Zaanse Schans beautiful landscape. Zaanse Schans is one of the places that are hard to believe really exist. Just forty houses and about twenty windmills. You can't believe that pure white, creamy clouds in that blue sky, perfectly reflected into the calm and silent water mirror. Walking along the Zaans river, you turn your head to the left and you see a windmill, you turn it to the right, yes, another windmill, or maybe some cows and swans or very sweet cats... The Zaanstreek area is still standing like it was in the Seventeenth and Eighteenth century. That day I was thinking I could really spend all my life on that green hills and never coming back.
