Project Information

Pow Pango was created to address a sobering truth: over 41,000 species are under threat of extinction. The brand’s mission is to inspire the next generation of “future protectors” through swimwear that both entertains and educates, with a percentage of profits funding global wildlife conservation.
The challenge was to craft an identity that could balance playfulness with purpose. The brand needed to be character-driven and engaging for children, while also appealing to parents seeking ethically produced, stylish products. To achieve this, I designed a system that combines bold, memorable visuals with a tone that is fun, educational, and trustworthy.
At the centre of the identity are the Pow Pango characters — Pango the Pangolin, Tidz the Porpoise, and Dipper the Leopard — each representing an endangered species through storytelling. The design system extends across packaging, digital platforms, and marketing materials, all with a vibrant, punchy aesthetic that avoids clichés of “eco” branding while remaining memorable and accessible.
The result is a brand that feels fresh in the children’s clothing space: playful but not childish, ethical but not preachy. Pow Pango positions swimwear as more than just apparel — it’s a tool for education, storytelling, and conservation
